HOW TO GET THERE?
When at the Paris airport ‘Charles de Gaulle’ keep right, direction Bordeaux. This is the eastern ring road (A3 / A86 / A10) around Paris (Paris Est). Follow the signs Bordeaux – Orléans (Paris-Est A3 / A86 / A10). Continue in the direction of Orléans where you take the turnoff A20 to Clermont Ferrand - Limoges. Leave the motorway at Vierzon to take the A20 to Châteauroux - Limoges.
In Limoges you follow the green signs Toulouse/Montignac and take the motorway turnoff number 36 to Nexon / St.Yrieix-la-Perche. Keep left and take the D704 in the direction St.Yrieix-la-Perche.
Continue on the D704 until the village of Lanouaille. In the centre of Lanouaille take a left (D75) - you will see a church on your right - and after the graveyard you take a right to Le Puy (D75E).
Stay on this road and drive through Le Puy. At the next crossroads, take a right in the direction of Périgueux - Excideuil (D4). After approximately 3 km take a left to St. Mesmin - Genis(D72E4) and at the next crossing another left to St. Mesmin (4 km). After the tiny hamlet Charoncle the road goes down a steep slope to a bridge across the Auvézère river and up again until you arrive in the little square of St. Mesmin. Here you take a right (direction Pompadour) and right again at the crossing to La Béchadie...yes!
‘LA BECHADIE’, drive up the dead end road – it is the first farm on the left!
