There is enough space in and around La Béchadie for all sorts of activities: table tennis, volleyball, badminton and pétanque, biking and walking. You can  ride a horse - at the ‘Le Pétrus’ farm for instance (at 4kms) or take a swim in the Auvézère river with its waterfall. Near the village of Rouffiac (12kms) is a lake with a beach - ideal for children –and various water sport attractions. You can also swim in the Etang de Coucou (16kms) or rent a kayak to take a trip on the Auvézère (at 12 km), the Vézère (40 km) or the Dordogne.
